Warranty Agreement

Terms and Conditions

General

Automated Entrance, Inc. warrants that all products sold will be free from defect in workmanship and materials during the Warranty Period. The Warranty Period shall extend for three (3) years from the date of sale (to the distributor).

Within this Warranty Period, Automated Entrance, Inc. at its sole option, will repair or replace (F.O.B. Mishawaka, Indiana) the goods in question at no charge subject to provisions for missing parts as described below.

Procedure

Units returned to Automated Entrance, Inc. should be properly packaged and shipped freight prepaid to:

Automated Entrance reserves the right to refuse packages damaged due to improper packing.

A packing list should be included with each package and contain the following information:

If you purchased an Automatic Entrance product from your automatic door dealer, please make all warranty claims with that dealer. This warranty is only valid for the original purchaser.

Missing Parts

When we repair units, they look and function like brand new. When small parts are missing on warranty returns, such as end caps, plugs, etc., they will be charged in accordance with the attached price list This price is subject to change without notification. If the charge per unit exceeds $10, we will obtain your approval of the charge by fax.

Limitations

This warranty is void if a defect is caused by error negligence or inappropriate use by the customer or third party, including but not limited to:

The warranty is also void on any unit that has been tampered with, modified or otherwise taken apart by non-Automated Entrance personnel.
